Functional-Visual Models
Primary uses:
focus study groups
sales demo models
This type of model is much more involved than the "looks like" visual model. It may contain some degree of
functionality in addition to the exact appearance of the final product. These models are often cored out to
receive internal components as necessary. BUT any functionality may be created by cutting and pasting as
necessary with handy components to get the job done, rather than having everything mounted to
production standards, as is typical of an "Engineering Model".
This type of model will be painted and finished using the same methods as the standard "Visual" model.
