Primary uses:
Receipt of functional units as sales samples prior to assembly line setup
Sample parts are often available from production tools prior to the planned start-up of assembly lines. These pre-
production tooling samples can be also used to assemble “pre-production units”. They can then be shown and
demonstrated by the sales group while assembly and other manufacturing functions come on line.
